Md. Roni Islam

Md. Roni Islam is working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computing Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University. He received his B.Sc. Degree in Department of Physics from Rajshahi University (RU). He received his M.Sc. degree from the same department from Rajshahi University (RU). He is considerably good both in written and spoken in English and Bengali. The medium of instruction was English at both the B.Sc. (Hons.) and the M.Sc. levels. In his role, he instructs diverse courses such as Classical mechanics or Newtonian mechanics (Topic: motion, moment of inertia, force and friction, work, energy and power, simple harmonic oscillator), Quantum Mechanics (Topic: photoelectric effect, Compton effect, Rutherford model, Bohr atomic model, Radioactivity, Mass defect, Einstein relativity law, Mass energy relation law). He has two publications in one Q1 journals (Title: Structural_thermodynamic_and_magnetic_properties_of_SrFe12O19_hexaferrite_modified_by_co-substitution_of_Cu_and_Gd [accessed Jul 07 2024].March 2024 RSC Advances 14(11):7314-7328 DOI: 10.1039/d3ra08878b) and other Q2 journals Enhanced inductivity, redox potential, and magneto-dielectric properties of SrFe12O19 nano-hexaferrite due to Cu and Gd co-substitution [ 31 january 2025 ] and also two poster presentation in conferences. He has worked as research assistant in Materials Science Lab, Department of Physics in University of Rajshahi. His research interests include machine learning, deep learning, bioinformatics, drug discovery and medical image processing, nanotechnology for nanoparticles, theoretical analysis for density function theory (DFT). His also research interests include Fablab and Health information lab in daffodil international University. He is the recipient of National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship 2021-22 by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Further he is the recipient of the Dean Award – 2022 for standing first in the B.Sc. (Hons) - 2020 examination at Department of Physics, University of Rajshahi. So, reflecting his exceptional academic achievements.
