Dr. Bimal Chandra Das

Dr. Bimal Chandra Das received his Bachelor of Science with Honours and Masters of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Chittagong (CU), Bangladesh in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Communication Engineering and Informatics from The University of Electro-Communications (UEC), Tokyo, Japan in 2018. Currently, he is working as an Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology and Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology & Management (ITM) at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined at Daffodil International University in 2008 as a Lecturer. He also worked about 2 years at different universities before joining at DIU. He worked as a research associate at The University of Electro-Communications, Japan from April 2015 to March 2018. He received the Japan Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) Scholarship-2014 for Ph.D. degree. Recently, Dr. Das completed a post-doctoral research fellow project work at UEC, Japan. He presented many research papers in Japan, Canada, United States, etc. during his Ph.D. research. His research interests includes computer network, network congestion, power efficient network, continuous optimization, and conic programming and its applications. He published many research papers and books in world's reputed journals and conferences.
