Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque

Professor Dr. Engr. A.K.M. Fazlul Haque is a highly accomplished scholar and researcher in the fields of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, as well as Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, Professor Haque is the Vice Chancellor (Designate) of the University of Skill Enrichment and Technology. Alongside these responsibilities, Professor Haque serves as a Professor in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Daffodil International University.
He has authored more than 100 refereed journal and conference papers, with research interests spanning Telemedicine, Commendation Signal Processing, Computer Networking, and Data Communication. He has served on editorial boards of several international journals and contributed as a program committee member for multiple international conferences. As an ardent advocate of diversity and inclusivity in academia, Professor Haque actively promotes these values within his research group and beyond.
Professor Haque is affiliated with numerous professional societies. He is a Fellow of the Bangladesh Computer Society, a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Life MembEnger of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Bangladesh Electronic Society. He is also a member of the German Telecommunication Engineers. He has delivered numerous invited talks, tutorials, and keynote sessions at national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. Additionally, he is enlisted as an elite reviewer for Elsevier, IEEE Access, Springer, Publons, PLOS, and other reputed publishers.
Beyond his academic and research engagements, Professor Haque plays significant national roles in quality assurance and higher education governance. He serves as an Auditor at the Bangladesh Accreditation Council, a Trainer at the University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh, a Member of the Quality Assurance Committee nominated by the UGC, and an Expert Member of the Discipline-Specific Committee of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council.
Professor Haque is also an active member of the Quality Assurance Unit and Research and Innovation Team of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific, as well as the International Society for Development and Sustainability. He is the recipient of the IEEE CS Bangladesh Academic and Research Excellence Award and has been honored with the Most Outstanding Professor Award from the World Education Congress for his exceptional contributions to education and research.
