Nazmul Hasan

Mr. Md. Nazmul Hasan is currently serving as the Rover Scout Leader of the Daffodil International University Air Rover Scout Group. In recognition of his leadership and contributions, he has served as the Joint Convener of the Foundation Committee of Bangladesh Scouts and as an Executive Member of the Bangladesh Scouts Air Region. For his outstanding contributions to scouting, he received the National Service Award in 2018, the No. 2 National Service Award in 2022, and the President’s Rover Scout Award (PRS) in 2019, the highest honor for Rover Scouts in Bangladesh. He also achieved the internationally recognized Wood Badge in 2021 after successfully completing the prescribed five-tier training scheme. Beyond national engagement, Mr. Nazmul has actively represented scouting at international platforms. His notable participation includes the BIMSTEC Youth-Led Action on Climate Change Conference (2025, India), the 25th World Scout Jamboree (2023, South Korea), the 3rd Messenger of Peace Gathering (2019, Saudi Arabia), the International Conference on Scouting and Environmental Protection (2019, Saudi Arabia), and the Indo-Bangladesh Friendship Camp (2016, India). Through these engagements, he has demonstrated leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and commitment to global scouting initiatives. Academically, he completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Daffodil International University and began his professional career at the same institution. He later completed his M.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Daffodil International University. His writing journey began in 2014 through the Bangladesh Scouts “Agradoot” District Correspondents Training. Since then, he has been a regular contributor to the Bangladesh Scouts’ official publication “Agradoot.” Over time, his writings have been published in several national newspapers, including Jugantor, Kaler Kantho, Samakal, Kalbela, Amader Shomoy, Protidhiner Sangbad, Alokito Bangladesh, and others. As a writer, he focuses on contemporary issues, education, youth development, and self-improvement. In addition, he has authored multiple research papers published in national and international journals.
