Aftab Hossain is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Daffodil International University (DIU). He is also a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His ongoing research area is Media Analysis, Social Media Behavior, Cyberbullying, and Media Literacy. His core teaching area is Digital and Social Media, Mass Communication, Public Relations, and Photojournalism. Apart from DIU, he has also taught as a visiting teacher at the Petra Christian University, Indonesia. He also worked as a guest teacher at the Universiti Sains Malaysia and Durham College, Canada.
