Welcome to Yarn Manufacturing Process: An Overview course. Textile industry has always been an essential aspect of Bangladesh economy for various reasons. Bangladesh is the world’s second largest textile exporter after China. More than 80% of overseas earnings come from the ready-to-wear apparel sector. Product diversification is the main focus of our RMG industry these days. In this context, the spinning industry plays an important role as the major backward linkage industry.
According to the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA), currently there are 500 spinning mills in Bangladesh. Three new spinning mills will be added in the next two years. According to BTMA, the investment in this spinning sector is Rs 5970 crore in 2021. 26 new matches have been added to the list. As the demand for yarn in the international market has increased, the wheels of the spinning sector of Bangladesh have started to move. Apart from textile graduates, more general education graduates also work in spinning mills. For them, there is a little problem in the beginning of the job with the process of spinning. Keeping you in mind, this course has been designed in a simple and easy way. Hope everyone will understand very easily.

He is now working as a faculty member in the Department of Textile Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering of Daffodil International University. Before coming to the teaching profession, he worked in some reputed organizations owned by local and foreign entrepreneurs of the Textile and Clothing sector. Mr. Parvez successfully completed many trainings from home and abroad. He has three excellent research papers published in reputed journals of the world.
